Business Game - Be on the top

Managerial training (game) “Be on the Top” arose at the beginning of the year 2007 as a great tool for identification of personality profile of a manager, including his/her abilities and acquirements. Be on the Top is a well-thought-out game generated for several months. This game currently doesn’t have a competition on our market and it’s mainly thanks to its subtlety, dynamics, variability of creation of the business strategies and feedback for players, their coach and mainly for the lecturer.

What is the aim of the game?
Simply to be rich…

What does it mean to be rich?
In the game it means to gain a house, car and a yacht.

How can I win?
The game has several alternatives how to win and become rich… A player can work with his/her financial resources on several markets at the same time…

Which markets can a player use?
A player can own companies and build strong companies alone or with a help of investor. He/she can own, buy and sell real properties. In order to win, he/she can use financial profits from buying investment funds and then multiply their profits in other activities, e.g. like in auctions.

Who manages and takes control of the game?
A lecturer, if the game is controlled by the lecturer from our agency. Or simply it can be a banker, who manages the whole game and whose goal is to win overplay other business men in the game. He/she has several tools to achieve it – taxes, auctions, etc.
If nobody gets rich in 5 years, a banker will be a winner.

How long does the game take?
One year in the game takes 30 to 60 minutes (depends on the number of players).
One game can take 1,5 hours but also 3 hours in total.

Is negotiation needed during the game?
“Be on the Top” is a game for managers and sales people. It is mainly about strategic thinking, decision making and negotiating.
Negotiating is difficult because there is strictly given space for it and that’s why the negotiating in the game is lead to the highest possible efficiency.
